Bennie Gonzales: Visionary architect airing June 10, 2002 A native Arizonan, Bennie Gonzales gained a national reputation for his Southwestern style architecture which gave a modern interpretation to mission adobe style buildings. He designed civic centers, banks, schools, libraries, churches and numerous residences that are now part of the Arizona landscape. Gonzales now makes his home in Nogales, Ariz. Stories of Arizona, a series showcasing the people and history of Arizona, airs Mondays at 7 p.m. on Channel 8 beginning June 3, 2002. New episodes will air through September.
