Arizona Horizon Arizona Horizon - Monday - Friday 5:30 pm , 10 pm
For nearly 30 years, Arizona Horizon is Eight's award-winning public affairs show. Government officials, business leaders and policy makers discuss the issues, laws and policies that affect Arizonans in their everyday lives. Unlike conventional newscasts, Arizona Horizon goes beyond headlines and sound bites to explore all sides of each issue.


Horizonte Horizonte - Thursday 11 pm and Sunday 1 pm on 8.1, Friday 7:30 pm on 8.3 (Effective 9/4)
Hosted by Phoenix attorney José Cárdenas, Horizonte provides a forum for Hispanic perspectives and helps to educate all audiences about issues of particular interest to the Latino community.

Arizona's Political History and Culture -- Speakers include: former U.S. Congressmen J.D. Hayworth and Jim Kolbe, U.S. Congressman Jeff Flake, former U.S. Senator Dennis DeConcini, and former Arizona Governors J. Fife Symingotn III, Raul Castro and Jane Dee Hull.


The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer PBS NewsHour – Monday - Friday 6 pm

FRONTLINE is American public television's flagship public affairs series featuring incisive documentaries covering the scope and complexity of the human experience.


Moyers and Company Moyers & Co. – Fridays - 11 pm
Veteran journalist Bill Moyers returns with a weekly series of smart talk and new ideas. The program helps viewers make sense of our tumultuous times through the insight of America's strongest thinkers and features Moyers' essays on democracy.


The McLaughlin Group The McLaughlin Group – Fridays – 7:30 pm
A panel of some of the nation's most respected columnists discuss the major issues of the day.


Nightly Business Report Nightly Business Report - Monday - Friday 10:30 pm
The nation's most-watched evening business news program. Every weeknight, Nightly Business Report distills the essence of what matters in the business world, and provides analysis and reflection so the news has meaning.


Arizona Week Arizona Week – Friday - 11 pm (6:30 pm effective 9/5)
Each Friday, veteran journalist Lorraine Rivera brings a timely review of statewide issues. The program provides depth and perspective about the week's top issues, including on-location and in-studio interviews with key newsmakers, followed by a journalists' panel to provide analysis of the topics.


Tavis Smiley Tavis Smiley – Monday - Saturday 1 am
Conversations with world figures, politicians, newsmakers, performers and writers —hosted by broadcaster, author, advocate and philanthropist, Tavis Smiley.


Washington Week Washington Week - Fridays - 7:00 pm
For more than 40 years, Washington Week has delivered the most interesting conversation of the week. It is the longest-running primetime news & public affairs program on television.
