“P IS FOR PIE”

When we sent out the call for pie recipes, they arrived from all over the state for fruit pies, cheese pies, custard pies, pumpkin pies, pot pies, all kinds of pies. Six of the viewers who shared their recipes will join host Barbara Fenzl in Eight’s new studio kitchen to prepare their favorites.  Eight Cooks “P is for Pie” airs Saturday, March 6, 2010 at noon on Eight/KAET. (Also airs at 2 p.m.)

Deanne Poulos, Scottsdale (Spanakopita)
Ethel Farnsworth, Yuma (Quiche with Brown Rice Crust)
Bonnie Coolum, Fountain Hills (Rhode Island Lemon Pumpkin Pie)
Rolf Jansen, Tempe (Pecan Pear Pie)
Betty Diggs, Cordes Junction (Betty’s Two Crust Lemon Pie)

The Eight Cooks: P is for Pie Cookbook, with more than 100 recipes, will be available during the broadcast.
