Ted Simons interviews the renowned astrophysicist, author and host of NOVA scienceNOW. Tyson explains what sparked his children interest in the universe and what fuels his ongoing passion for helping people of all ages, understand and appreciate the cosmos. Simons also asks what Tyson has against Pluto, the celestial body that was discovered at Flagstaff’s Lowell Observatory. The complete interview airs Monday, July 6, 2009 at 7 p.m. on Eight.
