More than 11,000 students from high schools across Arizona compete annually in the recitation and performance of poetry. In this special, nine student finalists compete for the title of Arizona State Champion and the opportunity to represent Arizona at the Poetry Out Loud National Finals in Washington D.C. The students discuss their individual journeys through the Poetry Out Loud competition and offer their advice to others considering participating in the future.
