Meet the Host
Barbara Pool Fenzl is a major figure on the American culinary stage: owner of the successful
"Les Gourmettes Cooking School," host of the 13-week KAET series, "Savor the Southwest," which aired on more than 90 public television stations across the country and was nominated for a 1999 Rocky Mountain Emmy Award; renowned cooking teacher who has been invited to teach classes from coast to coast and in France; cookbook author, former magazine food editor, writer and food stylist; former member of the board of two leading international culinary organizations and past president of one of them. She is a Certified Culinary Professional and was inducted into the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Hall of Fame in 1999.
