The Images of Arizona companion web site evolved from a series of planning meetings with KAET Executive Producer Jillian Robinson, KAET Production Coordinator Suzanne Stock, Senior Producer Jeff Unger and the web production team (listed below).

Rob Weideman
Creative Director

JRob WeidemanRob Weideman is Creative Director and lead web designer at azcentral. He is an accomplished illustrator with nearly 20 years of professional experience. Rob overseas all creative and digital graphics for's editorial and online products. Rob lead the team that produced the site's Rep entertainment guide, winner of the 2001 EPpy Award for Best Entertainment Section in an Online Newspaper Service. Prior to his current position, Rob covered major national and world news events as a newsroom illustrator for the Arizona Republic.

Alyson Hurt
Web Designer

Alyson HurtAlyson Hurt is a Web Designer at, where she designs graphics and special sections for's umbrella of web sites and commercial sites. She was also a contributing designer for's award-winning Rep entertainment guide. Prior to joining, Alyson was a writer, print designer and online editor for the Arizona State University State Press. She will graduate from ASU in May 2001 with a degree in journalism.

Ed Perkins
Online News Producer

Ed PerkinsEd Perkins is the Online News Producer at, where he manages content for breaking news, politics, travel/outdoors and special projects. As the resident political junkie, Ed spearheaded the site's Election 2000 area last year and is currently a political columnist for the site. He also produces and writes for, the largest Arizona travel site on the Web. Prior to joining, Ed was a senior project manager with Phoenix-based, where he co-produced joint entertainment web sites with such media giants as CNN and USA Today.
