"Maryvale has quite a large number of blockwatches and associations within one square mile. So, as you come into our communities, there is always a blockwatch and there's captains. There's leaders in the community who are always reporting the crime but also, being very involved with the Maryvale precinct and so community policing, of course, is where it's at right now because we have community action officers that certainly are very effective."
