Downton Abbey on MASTERPIECE – Season 6 Sneak Preview Event Saturday, Dec. 12 at 2:30 p.m. – SECOND SCREENNG ADDED for 3:30 p.m.

Join Arizona PBS as we celebrate the upcoming – and final – season of Emmy® and Golden Globe® award-winning "Downton Abbey" in proper English fashion with tea and scones and a stiff upper lip.

Prepare to revisit your favorite Downton characters onscreen in the Arizona PBS studios, and also get a first peek at other exciting programming coming soon on Arizona PBS.

See the first hour of the highly anticipated new season 6 of Downton Abbey three weeks before it airs. And to properly set the mood, join us first for our pop-up Big Sip tea party complete with English tea and scones downstairs in the First Amendment Forum of ASU’s Cronkite School.

downton teaYou can also join the fun online as other fans from across the country post their Downton selfies online for the #BigSip. Costumes are encouraged for this event, as Arizona PBS transports fans to the beloved world of “Downton Abbey” for the afternoon with sights, sounds and tastes, and the aroma of real English tea. Attendees can mingle with other die-hard Downton fans while sipping tea from official "Downton Abbey" cups and eating scones, provided courtesy of Robert’s Catering.

In the history of PBS dramas, "Downton Abbey" is the most-watched series of all time. Season 6 premieres Jan. 3 at 8 p.m. on Arizona PBS.
