"My husband and I dropped by Tim Finnegan's on a Saturday afternoon, and loved it from the moment we stepped through the door. We love exploring Irish pubs and this one is certainly at the top of the crowd. My husband had the fish and chips, and I ordered the Shepherd's Pie, plus a side of the brown bread. Both were superb - fish and chips batter was light and tasty, the fries were perfectly done. I can't rave on enough about the Shepherd's Pie - with the lamb ground, the flavors were distinct and yet balanced - not runny, not too thick. Irish brown bread is a treat, and here at Finnegan's they knock it out of the park. Scratch made on the premises, you cannot leave the restaurant until you have had a slice of the brown bread. And don't forget the beer! Finnegan's Amber has a good body and is a great accompaniment to the fish and chips. I am a die-hard Black and Tan fan - the draft version left me a VERY happy girl. These reviewers did not do Tim Finnegan's justice. If you want a real Irish Pub experience, don't come in and order wings and brownies. Order the real stuff, and you will have not only expanded your horizons but enjoyed a really fantastic experience." Claudia C.
