"The girlfriend and I went during restaurant week. It was a Monday night and the place was packed. Good sign. The place is comofratable and relaxing. Great place to take a date or gather with friends. That's what it looked like on the evening we went. appetizers were the corn nut scallops and the ahi tuna with Jicama slaw. Super good. Entrees were the filet mignon with roasted potatoes and asparagus. I had the Pastrami-Style Smoked Short Ribs three day brine, ginger/brown sugar/paprika-rubbed, mesquite-smoked, served with Yukon/ Dijon mashed, Brussels sprouts & shallots, pink peppercorn/maple gastrique Both were fantastic. That 3 day brine really did a number on this piece of meat. I didn't need a knife to cut it. Get the exotic mushroom pan fry. that is an excellent compliment for your entree. desert was the bread pudding and the peanut butter cup. Once again, both were fantastic. Bottom line, Cowboy Ciao is a great restaurant. Restaurant week makes it a great value. but don't take my word for it. Go. experience. Generate your own opinion." Mark K.
