"I recently met a friend for lunch there. I'd never been before and went at the suggestion of my friend who'd been a regular before the fire. We went for the California Cheesesteak sandwich and it has to be in the top 3 I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and more than attentive. The service was quick as well and the atmosphere very relaxed and comfortable. The decor was very southwestern and cozy. Imagine a little out of the way spot in a Spanish mission to take a meal and you're pretty much there. I plan to go back to try some of their other fare. Parking is a bit of challenge but that's to be expected with niche restaurants." Jim W.

"I disagree with Kate Q's review. I had never been to Richardson's before (had never heard of it) and tried it because of "CPAZ." I had a very good experience. The staff were attentive and friendly without being bothersome. The food was exceptional. I'll go back when I'm in the area. I've recommended it to many friends and coworkers." Andy F.

"I met up with friends for lunch at Richardsons and we sat at the bar. I asked for a straw for my ice water and was told straws were not allowed. The owner had a "thing" about straws. The burger I had ordered medium well, arrived just about raw. I politely told the waitress, who did not check back to ask how the food was, that it was way under cooked. She took it away and brought back a burnt burger that was so burnt it was not edible. There was no manager available to talk to about anything, the staff were snotty. I tried to phone the management later that afternoon. No person was available, no person would return calls. The restaurant is all hype, maybe some pet customers who get treated well. My friends and I will never go back." Kate Q.
