"The Coffee Shop is tucked back behind another place called "Joe's Grill" in that pleasant grove of trees and green grass, and I missed it entirely the first time I tried to go.
After phoning and asking for directions, a few afternoons later I enjoyed The Coffee Shop's veggie sandwich on very good nine-grain bread. The produce was noticeably crisp and everything clean. Sitting in the open, semi-rural atmosphere beside the not-quite-wilted-yet colorful roses that surround the patio was refreshing. The mountains in the distance are nice too. Though the freeway is just a couple blocks away, you get the feeling like you are breathing fresh air.
They didn't know about the PBS members' Gold Passport card, so don't expect a diner's discount. (I had assumed the featured shows would be a participating establishment.)"
