"My wife and I had dinner here last evening for Valentine's Day. Even arriving at 6 PM, the place was full, and we had to get seats at the sushi bar. The wait staff are constantly running, making catching one's eye, key to getting your order placed and served, in the least time. However, the sushi and sashimi were fresh, and nicely prepared. The rest of the menu is extensive and reasonably priced; which probably explains the crowds. Be patient, and hopefully, it will be worth the wait."

"AVOID THIS RESTAURANT, Please... After siting for 11 minutes, I flagged a waitress down just to be told rudely, we were not the only customers there and there are other people who are waiting for service also...... and,....all I was asking for was water for the kids....!!!! Promptly We left and had a pleasant Thai dinner across the street from those idiots with great service and courteous waitresses who welcomed us with big smiles... Please Avoid "SUSHI KEN" for their rude waitresses & lousy, slow service....there are plenty of great Japanese restaurant choices...spend your "DOLLAR" where it is appreciated !!"

"I just wanted to inform you that I recently watched your show and saw the segment about Sushi Ken. I was very excited and decided to check it out with my boyfriend. I have to say that we were both very disappointed. We went there for a late dinner at 9:00pm. We ordered fried octopus and it was clear that they used old grease to do their deep frying, and it ruined the taste. I also ordered smoked salmon nigiri, and it tasted awful. The best thing I order was some yellow tail nigiri. I tried the soft shell crab roll and was also disappointed. Again, the grease they used to fry the crab must have been old. They were kind enough to take the fired octopus off the tab. Unfortunately, not too long after we ate there my boyfriend and I felt sick to our stomachs after eating here. We both eat a lot of sushi, and this has never happen to us. So I wanted to let you know since I heard about Sushi Ken through Check Please Arizona. If you want our review we would give this place two big thumbs down for food quality and so so on the food service. I think we will stick to our usual sushi at Cafe Wasabi in Tempe."
