"This is a superb tearoom. I had a friend in from CT to visit and I took her there. We both had afternoon tea that was served in three courses, as it should be. Our server was very attentive and greeted us with a smile. We began with tea sandwiches, one with ham and melted cheese served on a warm in- house made roll. Of the many tearooms I have been to, none served a warm melted cheese and ham sandwich on a yeast roll. Other sandwiches included chicken salad and tuna. The scones were memorable served with lemon curd and Devonshire cream. The dessert began with custard in a wine glass with chantilly on top. The sweets included a raspberry mini tart, brownie, and lemon bar. We had a delicious peach tea and sampled the hibiscus tea as well. My friend was more than impressed with the tea. Next time I would like to chose the quiche, as everyone near us seemed to have ordered that dish. There is nothing like a tea with a long-time friend which made memories for a lifetime."
