J. Boyer teaches in the Creative Writing Program of
Arizona State University. Known primarily as a playwright, Boyer's work has been performed across the country, primarily Off-Off-Broadway, as well as in Europe, most recently in London and Paris. His nonfiction books include Sidney Lumet, Bob Rafelson: Hollywood Maverick, Ishmael Reed, Richard Brautigan.
