About the Author

Paul Cook was born in Tucson, Arizona, in 1950. He received his Ph.D. in English at the University of Utah in 1981. Paul Cook is the author of eight science-fiction novels. His novels have been translated and published in Japan, Italy, Portugal and Germany. Cook is a member of the Science Fiction Writers of America and the Society for Scientific Exploration. He writes poetry and has published approximately 100 poems in journals such as The Georgia Review, The Seattle Review and The Carolina Quarterly. Cook has published over 600 classical music reviews, principally in Classical Pulse! and The American Record Guide. He currently resides in Tempe, Arizona, and teaches courses at Arizona State University.
