About Jana Bommersbach

Jana Bommersbach is an acclaimed and respected journalist whose work has encompassed every facet of the profession. She's been a reporter and editor for both weekly and daily newspapers. She wrote a popular book about Winnie Ruth Judd and is a major contributor to an anthology. In addition, she's written columns and investigative stories for magazines and appeared on television with both political commentaries and investigative stories. Bommersbach’s latest book, Bones in the Desert, The True Story of a Mother’s Murder and a Daughter’s Search will be published in October 2008 by St. Martin’s Press. Bommersbach has been honored by the Arizona Press Club, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Arizona Chapter of the ACLU, the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and American Women in Radio and Television.
