Still Water Saints

Set in a small town outside of Los Angeles called Agua Mansa, the story centers on Perla Portillo, owner of the local botanical shop. For years she has dispensed guidance along with her shop’s potions and candles to the many colorful and conflicted customers in need of her help. As Portillo comes to the aid of a particularly troubled youth, she must also come to terms with an increasingly violent community, and her place within it.
