The program was established in 1988 to provide legal education, scholarship in the area of Indian law and public service to tribal governments.     • Pluto is no longer a planet. It has been demoted to "dwarf planet" status. The International Astronomical Union stripped Pluto of planetary status it's held since being discovered at an Arizona observatory in 1930.
