April 2, 2013- Immigration Poll |
 Video - A new poll commissioned by the Arizona Chamber of Commerce shows that overwhelmingly majorities support the comprehensive immigration reform plan being worked on by the so-called “Gang of 8,” a bi-partisan group of lawmakers that includes Arizona Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake. Garrick Taylor of the chamber will discuss the findings of the Public Opinion Strategies poll.
August 8, 2012- Medical Marijuana Legal Concerns | Video
- This week the State Health Department held a lottery for applicants wanting to open a medical marijuana dispensary in Arizona. 97 of 433 applicants were awarded dispensary registration certificates, but it’s unclear if they’ll ever get to open for business. Attorney General Tom Horne has issued an opinion that the State’s medical marijuana law is preempted by federal law. Hear from Horne and Andrew Myers who managed Arizona’s Prop 203 (medical marijuana initiative) campaign.

- The Arizona Court of Appeals ruled that Arizonas school voucher programs violate a provision of the state constitution that prohibits tax dollars from being appropriated to aid private or religious schools. The affected programs provide public grants and scholarships to foster and disabled children allowing them to attend a school of their choice. Well talk with an Institute for Justice attorney representing families who use these vouchers, and a representative of the Arizona Education Association, a plaintiff in the case.

March 18, 2005- Journalists Roundtable
- The House and Senate have agreed on a new $8.2 billion budget. A Maricopa County Superior Court judge ruled that Attorney General Terry Goddard was correct in his legal opinion regarding the scope of Prop 200 and the State Senate this week approved the use of school vouchers, but it's likely Governor Napolitano will veto the proposal.
