  • Conductor Michael Christie  |   Video
    • This Friday, the Minnesota Opera premiere production of the Pulitzer-Prize winning opera “Silent Night” will be broadcast nationwide on PBS's Great Performances. The opera is conducted by Michael Christie, and will air Friday at 8 p.m. here on KAET. Christie will appear on Arizona Horizon to talk about Silent Night as well as Handel’s Messiah, being performed here in Phoenix, which he will conduct.

  • Arpaio Racial Profiling Update  |   Video
    • A hearing was held Friday by a federal judge who ruled Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s office was racially profiling Latinos. At the hearing, lawyers who filed the racial profiling lawsuit were expected to ask for more training for officers, better record keeping for traffic stops and a monitor to make sure the racial profiling stops. Arizona Republic Reporter JJ Hensley will give us an update.
