    • A look back at the career and accomplishments of the only politician in Arizona who was a senator, governor and chief justice of the State Supreme Court. Ernest McFarland was the man who got the G.I. Bill passed, which increased educational opportunities for U.S. veterans. He was also instrumental, with Senator Carl Hayden, in obtaining water for Arizona with the Central Arizona Project.
