Ethics in Entertainment


  • The Ethics of Entertainment (E2) Conference and Film Festival will explore the powerful roll of entertainment media in our lives. Workshops, film screenings and speakers will delve into the decision-making process that artists go through when portraying social, political and health issues. We profile local filmmaker Chuck LeVinus and his film Never Been Thawed. Conference organizers F. Miguel Valenti and Laurie Trotta join Michael Grant in the studio. Light Rail Update


  • Construction has started on the Valley's light rail system. It's impacted businesses. We'll get an update on light rail progress from John Farry, Valley Metro Rail's Director of Community Relations.


state Worker Pay


  • Arizona state employee pay ranks near the bottom when compared to other states, and even to other governments locally. A legislative panel is working to bring state workers pay more in line with other similar public and private sector jobs. State Senator Jay Tibshraeny, co-chair of a legislative panel addressing the problem, will talk about what's being proposed.
